Group Activities
Through NDIS group activities, In Good Hands helps Queenslanders in rural areas enhance their mental health and social interaction.
Describe the NDIS.
Regional Queenslanders with major or permanent disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers, are supported by the NDIS.
In order to improve daily life, live more independently, and boost career prospects, the NDIS links persons with disabilities to services in their neighborhood, including medical services, libraries, schools, and sports organizations.
Recreational and social activities are crucial for preserving and enhancing mental health. They promote community involvement and connectivity, present chances to make new friends and pick up new interests or talents.
NDIS group activities give people a forum to talk about their mental health struggles while also giving them a chance to practice new social skills and forge lasting personal bonds.
Along with more conventional group activities like cooking, fishing, gardening, and meditation, In Good Hands also provides fresh and creative activities.
The following are some of the activities we provide: going to the movies; fishing; strolling; ten pin bowling; arts and crafts instruction; group sports; cooking; and social outings.
People can completely express themselves and their complicated feelings to others who can connect to similar experiences in an open, encouraging, and safe environment created by NDIS group activities. Through these sessions, clients can acquire enduring abilities to forge close bonds with others and participate in social activities more readily.
